MEET MARTIQUA & OUR MISSION
The vision of MLOH began with the desire to provide a young girl with joy and entertainment. Martiqua Leshay Pillow, born with Cytomeglovirus (CMV), a virus that left her with physical and mental delays and totally dependent on the care of her parents, was blessed to vacation at the GIVE THE KIDS THE WORLD in Florida.
Due to the parks fully accessibility for special needs children, Martiqua and her family experienced so much fun and entertainment which launched the vision to bring a similar experience to Tennessee.
Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.
MLOH will provide guests with educational classes to help them continue to learn and develop in key areas regarding special needs.

“I wanted to thank you and Martiqua’s Land of Hope for what you did for my son, Hatcher Ryan at Christmas. Hatcher has Down Syndrome, autism and is a leukemia survivor. There are endless doctors appointments, therapies, etc for him. My older girls have gone without birthday and holiday celebrations because of their baby brother’s extra special needs. You providing Christmas for him this year, allowed me to focus more time on them. You will never know how grateful I am to you! Thank you for what you are doing for our special needs community! WE ALL appreciate you! ”
“Martiqua’s Land of Hope gave my daughter, Hannah, the chance to experience a Fall Festival for special needs children. Most community events are not equipped to fully include a special needs child. The volunteers were interactive and engaging with every child! It was a wonderful experience! Also, Hannah’s name was drawn to receive some special Christmas gifts. For a special needs family that struggles financially, that was quite a blessing!”
